Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. The nose offers ripe black cherry, plum and raspberry with spice, a hint of sweet oak and an earthy touch. The palate is rounded and dense, with a discreet but firm structure, ripeness and generous fruit without any harshness, and a long, harmonious finish.

About this wine

Méo-Camuzet is a family estate in Vosne-Romanée, renowned for wines from the great climats of the Côte de Nuits. Aux Boudots is the northernmost Premier Cru of Nuits-Saint-Georges and borders Vosne-Romanée Les Malconsorts. The parcel of just over two acres sits in the lower part of the slope, facing east; half of the vines were planted in the early 1950s and half in the mid-1960s.

The Pinot Noir ages in oak barrels, including new oak from the Tronçais forest.

Rounded and dense, with a discreet but firm structure, it shows its best already in its early years.
