Tasting notes

Garnet red. The nose offers blackcurrant and black raspberry with a hint of spice. The palate is fresh and medium-bodied, with soft tannins and juicy dark fruit, ending on an elegant, lightly peppery finish.

About this wine

Château Puech-Haut is one of the leading estates of Saint-Drézéry, in the hills north-east of Montpellier. Its vineyards, planted at 50 to 150 metres on stony soils covered with round pebbles, benefit from the cooling influence of the nearby Mediterranean.

Argali Rouge blends 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Merlot. The grapes are hand-harvested and each variety is vinified separately in stainless steel before blending, an approach that preserves fruit purity and freshness.

It is a supple, approachable red from the Languedoc that shows the generous southern sun without losing its elegance, ideal for everyday meals and relaxed evenings with friends.
