Tasting notes

Deep purple-red. Aromas of violet, blackberry and raspberry with mineral notes. Medium-bodied, with soft tannins, good balance and a fresh, fruity finish.

About this wine

Vietti was founded at the end of the 19th century by Carlo Vietti in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Langhe. In 1961 Alfredo Currado made one of the first single-cru Barolos, and since 1974 the winery has also been known for its artist-designed labels.

The Dolcetto Tre Vigne comes from vineyards across the Langhe hills, picked by hand in early September. It is fermented and aged only in stainless steel, so the grape's purple fruit and floral perfume come through with clarity.
