Tasting notes

Light straw yellow with green reflections. The nose is delicate yet expressive, with apricot, apple and nutmeg. The palate is light, mineral, juicy and fresh, with a clean finish. Bright alpine acidity and a light, natural haze from the absence of filtration give it a lively, authentic character.

About this wine

Alois Lageder is a family estate in Magrè, in Alto Adige, and one of the pioneers of organic and biodynamic viticulture in the region.

This Müller Thurgau comes from high-altitude vineyards in the Valle Isarco between Chiusa and Bressanone, on sandy, gravelly and schist soils. After about four months on the lees in steel it is bottled unfiltered, and it is certified organic.

It is a fresh, mineral expression of the alpine character of the grape. The estate farms its vineyards biodynamically.
