Tasting notes

Deep, bright garnet red. Earthy notes with red fruit, blackcurrant, chocolate and green pepper on the nose. Full, intense, rich and elegant on the palate, with a vegetal note on the finish.

About this wine

Hofstätter's Cabernet is an Alto Adige DOC from Cabernet Sauvignon grown on both sides of the Adige valley, at roughly 250 to 800 metres.

The grapes are destemmed and ferment on their skins in steel for about ten days, then the wine ages several months in steel before bottling, keeping the fruit in front. This listing is the 2021 vintage.
