Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow. The bouquet shows green and yellow apple with a delicate herbal nuance. The palate is elegant and full, carried by lively acidity and a clear mineral streak, and closes with persistent freshness.

About this wine

The Pinot Bianco from the Selezione line shows the classic style of Elena Walch, one of the leading wineries of Alto Adige, run today by Elena's daughters Julia and Karoline. The grapes are picked by hand on steep vineyards with light limestone and porphyry soils at altitudes of up to around 900 metres.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature, and the wine then rests for several months on its lees, without any oak, to keep the purity and freshness of the variety intact.

Pale straw in colour, it offers apple fruit and a light herbal note on the nose, with an elegant, full palate, mineral depth, lively acidity and lasting freshness that makes it a versatile aperitif and food wine.
