Tasting notes

Garnet with a developing rim. The nose offers cassis, blackberry and cedar with graphite, leather and tobacco. The palate is medium to full-bodied and classically built, with fine, firm tannins, lively acidity and a long, savoury finish.

About this wine

Château Latour is one of the legendary estates of Pauillac and one of the first growths of the historic 1855 Bordeaux classification. Its vineyards lie on the Left Bank close to the Gironde estuary, around the old tower that gives the estate its name.

The grand vin is a blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, famous for its powerful structure and exceptional ability to age for decades.

2004 is a classic, more restrained Médoc vintage that after two decades in bottle shows the elegance and depth of the estate, a bottle for collectors and lovers of mature Bordeaux.
