Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. The nose offers ripe cherry, red berries and a light spicy note. The palate is structured and balanced, with fresh acidity, firm yet ripe tannins and a savoury coastal touch that carries the red fruit through to a long, persistent finish.

About this wine

Colline Albelle is a young project, started in 2016 in the hills of Riparbella above the Tuscan coast by three winemaking families from France and Bulgaria. The vineyards are farmed following organic and biodynamic principles.

Serto is the estate's reserve wine, 100% Sangiovese made only in the best vintages, when the grapes reach full ripeness. It is a structured red in which Tuscany's classic grape shows its red fruit and lively acidity, with a balance enhanced by the coastal influence on the vineyards.
