Tasting notes

Greenish to yellow. A fresh, fruity and delicate nose with notes of pineapple and banana. The palate is dry and lively, with a pleasant body and a clean, fruity finish. Serve chilled but not ice-cold, so the aromas and the texture can fully open in the glass.

About this wine

Cantina Valle Isarco (Eisacktaler Kellerei) is a winery based in Klausen, in the Eisack Valley of South Tyrol, one of the northernmost wine areas of Italy.

The Chardonnay of its classic line grows in the southern part of the valley at 400-700 metres, on warm, deep soils of weathered porphyry. The grapes are handled gently, fermented at a controlled temperature and aged on the fine lees in stainless steel without malolactic fermentation, keeping their freshness and pure fruit. It is a versatile, food-friendly mountain white.
