Tasting notes

Pale yellow. Hawthorn, jasmine, green apple and almond on the nose. The palate shows clear mineral freshness and an expressive, lingering flavour. Hints of white peach, chamomile and a light saline note give lift, and the finish is long, crisp and elegant, with the volcanic minerality typical of Soave.

About this wine

Otto is the youngest Soave Classico of Graziano Prà, a family winery in Monteforte d'Alpone, in the heart of the classic Soave zone. The first vintage was 1983, and the wine is named after the family's border collie, who lived with them for 15 years.

Made from 100 percent Garganega, the grapes come from vines 30 to 70 years old planted on volcanic soils. Fermentation at 13 °C and ageing in stainless steel preserve the purity of the fruit.
