Tasting notes

Bright purple-ruby colour. A pure, fruit-driven nose of blackberry, blueberry and violet with black pepper and a hint of smoked meat. Medium-bodied, with fresh acidity, juicy fruit and supple tannins – an unoaked Syrah that shows the young Sakar vineyard in its purest form.

About this wine

Natalie is the new star of Dragomir Winery Estate, named after Natalia Gadzheva, who together with her husband Konstantin Stoev and oenologists Atanas Mazev and Miroslava Delcheva creates the wines of the Dragomir brand. After years of work with different terroirs, the team planted 24 hectares of vines in 2017 near the village of Svirkovo in southern Sakar.

In 2021 the Syrah bore fruit for the first time and was vinified on its own, without barrel ageing, to show the pure varietal character of the young vineyard.

Serve at 16–18 °C with grilled meat, pork or roast poultry.
