Tasting notes

Intense yellow. Delicate aromas of exotic fruit, pear and apple with a light creamy touch from the lees. The palate is dry and fresh, with pleasant fullness, balanced acidity and a clean, persistent finish. Its freshness and clean structure make it an easy companion at the table, and it is best enjoyed while the fruit is at its brightest.

About this wine

The Pfitscher family has been making wine in Montan, in the south of South Tyrol, since 1861, and the seventh generation now focuses on pure, precise wines from high vineyards.

"Arvum" is the estate's Chardonnay, grown around Egna and Ora at about 300 metres above sea level. It ferments partly in stainless steel and partly in barriques, then matures on its fine lees.

The combination of steel and oak gives a dry, fresh Chardonnay with pleasant texture and Alpine clarity.
