Tasting notes

Straw yellow to golden. Aromatic and fruity, with the typical notes of rose petals, lychee and exotic fruit and a hint of spice. The palate is structured and harmonious, with a soft texture and a long, fragrant finish. Its freshness and clean structure make it an easy companion at the table, and it is best enjoyed while the fruit is at its brightest.

About this wine

Pfitscher is a family winery in Montan, South Tyrol, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1861, and the first in Italy to earn the KlimaHaus Wine sustainability certification.

The Gewürztraminer "Stoass" comes from vineyards near Egna and Caldaro at 300 to 400 metres. It ferments for about twelve days in temperature-controlled stainless steel and then matures on its fine lees.

It is an aromatic yet well-structured Gewürztraminer that shows the variety's exuberant perfume with Alpine balance. The family winery in Montan is itself a showcase of sustainable, energy-efficient building among the vines.
