Tasting notes

Bright greenish yellow. Fine notes of nutmeg, stone fruit and Alpine herbs. The palate is fruity, dry and intense, with gentle acidity and a clean, refreshing finish. Its freshness and clean structure make it an easy companion at the table, and it is best enjoyed while the fruit is at its brightest.

About this wine

Pfitscher is a family winery in Montan, South Tyrol, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1861.

The Müller Thurgau "Dola" comes from vineyards in Fiè allo Sciliar at about 900 metres, among the highest the estate farms. It ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel and then matures in casks on its fine lees.

The altitude gives a crisp, aromatic white with lively freshness and real mountain character. The family winery in Montan is itself a showcase of sustainable, energy-efficient building among the vines.
