Tasting notes

Ruby with garnet reflections. Fragrant notes of red berries, violet and a touch of spice. Medium-bodied and juicy, with fine, gentle tannins, fresh acidity and a clean, persistent finish.

About this wine

Paolo Manzone runs a family estate of about 20 hectares in the Meriame area of Serralunga d'Alba, between the celebrated crus of Baudana and Lazzarito.

Mirinè is the estate's Nebbiolo d'Alba, from vineyards in Sinio facing south-east at 400 metres on calcareous clay soils. It ages for 12 months in French oak tonneaux, which round out the grape's tannins while keeping its fragrant fruit in the foreground.

The three-litre Jeroboam turns it into a true centrepiece for a festive table and a memorable gift for any Nebbiolo lover.
